Lender Agreement

This Lender Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between AURA (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the individual or business listing items for rent through our platform (“Lender”, “you”, “your”).

By submitting items to AURA, you agree to the following terms.


1. Eligibility

To become a lender, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Own the items you list
  • Have the legal right to rent out those items
  • Provide accurate personal and payment information

AURA reserves the right to reject any application or item submission at our discretion.


2. Item Standards

All items submitted to AURA must:

  • Be authentic and legally owned
  • Be clean and in excellent condition
  • Match the images and descriptions provided
  • Be free from significant damage, stains, odours, or alterations unless disclosed

AURA may refuse, remove, or suspend listings that do not meet our standards.


3. Listing Process

Lenders must provide:

  • Accurate item descriptions
  • Sizing information
  • Brand details
  • High-quality images

Once approved, items may be listed on the AURA website and marketing channels.


4. Pricing & Commission

Rental pricing is determined by AURA in collaboration with the lender.

AURA deducts a commission fee from each completed rental. Remaining earnings will be paid to the lender within 8–10 business days after the rental period ends.

Commission percentages may vary depending on item category, value, and service level.


5. Shipping & Delivery

Once approved, lenders must:

  • Ship items promptly when requested, or
  • Arrange an approved drop-off

Failure to meet dispatch deadlines may result in penalties or suspension.


6. Damage & Loss

AURA takes reasonable care in handling all items.

Minor wear and tear is expected through normal rental use. Significant damage, loss, or theft will be assessed individually.

Compensation decisions are made at AURA’s discretion based on:

  • Item age
  • Original retail value
  • Condition
  • Repairability


7. Cleaning & Care

AURA may professionally clean items between rentals.

Lenders must disclose any special care instructions before approval.


8. Payments

Payments are issued via bank transfer to the account provided by the lender.

Lenders are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate payment details
  • Reporting and paying any applicable taxes


9. Termination

AURA may suspend or terminate lender accounts for:

  • Breach of agreement
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Repeated late dispatch
  • Misrepresentation of items

Lenders may request removal of their items at any time, subject to active rental commitments.


10. Liability

AURA is not liable for:

  • Indirect losses
  • Lost profits
  • Delays outside our control
  • Damage caused by undisclosed defects

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount earned from the affected rental transaction.
