Terms & Conditions – AURA
Please read carefully before renting
Welcome to AURA. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and responsibilities for renting clothing and accessories from our collection. By placing a rental order, you agree to these terms in full.
AURA is committed to providing high-quality pieces and a seamless rental experience. We appreciate your care and cooperation in helping us maintain the quality of our collection for all customers.
1. Pricing & Rental Period
All rental prices are clearly displayed at checkout.
- Rentals are charged on a daily rate basis
- The minimum rental period is 2 days
- Pricing may vary depending on item type and rental duration
2. Condition of Items & Liability
All items are professionally cleaned and carefully inspected before each rental.
From the time of delivery until return, the customer is fully responsible for the item(s). This includes loss, theft, or damage.
We accept normal wear and tear, including:
- Loose threads
- Minor scuffs
- Light fading
- Slight pilling
We do not consider the following as normal wear and tear:
- Tears or rips
- Permanent stains
- Broken zippers, buttons, or seams
- Excessive or structural damage
Damage Policy
- If an item is returned damaged beyond normal wear, the customer will be charged for repair or additional cleaning costs. An invoice will be issued and payment requested within 7 days of notice.
- If an item is deemed beyond repair, the customer will be charged the full retail replacement value (RRP) of the item.
- If damage results in lost bookings, cancellations, or refunds for future rentals, the customer may also be charged for the resulting loss of revenue. This includes late returns affecting subsequent bookings.
AURA uses a secure payment system and may charge the card on file in the case of damages. No charges will be made without prior notice and an issued invoice.
By renting from AURA, you acknowledge responsibility for all items from delivery to return, including damage caused by accident, negligence, or failure to follow care instructions.
3. Item Care
Each item must be treated with care to preserve quality for future renters.
Customers must avoid exposure to:
- Makeup
- Fake tan
- Food & drinks
- Jewellery that may snag fabric
- Any substances that may stain or damage materials
Any damage must be reported immediately upon discovery. Failure to report may result in additional charges.
All items are photographed before and after each rental period to ensure transparency.
Care instructions are provided with each order and must be followed.
4. Shipping & Returns
All orders are shipped using a 24-hour tracked delivery service.
- Outbound postage is included in the rental price
- Customers are responsible for return postage costs
- Returns must be shipped using a tracked service
We recommend allowing 1–2 days before your event to ensure timely delivery.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. AURA is not liable for delays or issues caused by incorrect information or courier services.
AURA is also not responsible for courier delays, and no refunds will be issued in such cases.
5. Late Returns
We allow a 3-day grace period for late returns.
After this period, a fee of 10% of the item’s daily rental rate per day will be charged until the item is returned.
6. Refund Policy
AURA does not offer refunds if items do not fit or meet personal preference.
Please ensure you carefully review sizing information before placing an order. Our team is available to assist with sizing queries prior to booking.
Refunds are only issued if AURA is unable to fulfill a booking due to unforeseen circumstances.
7. Cleaning Policy
A small cleaning fee is included in all rentals.
Customers must not attempt to wash or clean items themselves, as this may cause damage.
If additional cleaning beyond normal wear is required, an invoice will be issued to cover extra costs.
To refresh garments:
- Hang in a steamy bathroom to remove light wrinkles
- Avoid ironing or machine washing unless instructed
8. Agreement
By placing a rental order with AURA, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
